The new GB ball valve is on the market
We are pleased to announce the launch of our new GB series general service ball valve, that improve reliability and safety of your fluid systems, reduces installation costs, and extends product life in corrosive environments.
The GB Series has expanded our current ball valves offering to include a 413 bar (6 000 psi) rated valve with full flow end connections ranging in size from 3/8 to 1 inch or from 12 mm to 25 mm.
The valve has been designed to meet the needs of a wide range of high-flow applications in a variety of industries, incl.:
- Oil and gas industry
- Chemical and petrochemical industry
- Alternative fuels
Key features includes:
- Bi-directional flow design (with standard PEEK packing) and available integral Swagelok end connections that simplify system design and reduce installation time and labor
- A patent-pending, mechanically locked end screw design that increases safety by reducing risk of accidental disassembly or leakage
- A variety of alloy materials in accordance with NACE MR0175 available, for reducing corrosion and extending component life in harsh conditions
- A bolt pattern that can be used for an optional lockout handle or panel mount and a bracket compatible with an ISO 5211 pneumatic actuator to allow onsite configuration, reducing inventory levels and providing installation flexibility
- GB Series valves are offered with a fire safe option that meets the testing specifications of API 607, 7th edition
- GB valves are certified for Low Emissions Service according to the American Petroleum Institute’s API 641 tests for fugitive emissions to atmosphere
